MISSION STATEMENT

The Art Williams and Harry Wendt Aeronautical Engineering School is a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) committed to developing aircraft engineering skills and technical expertise essential to the Development and Safety of Air Transport within Guyana, the Caribbean Community, and the World Community at large.


AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

 

  1. To provide the underpinning knowledge in all engineering disciplines to complement the existing aircraft maintenance skills.
  2. To provide basic hands-on aircraft engineering skills as is required to
    perform with competence in the hangar environment.
  3. To act as a gateway to personal progression and company development
    through the provision of measurable skills training and access to recognized
    qualifications.
  4. To provide recurrent training to aircraft engineers and technicians and
    thus keep them abreast of technical and administrative developments both locally and worldwide.
  5. To develop an awareness of Aviation Safety and a responsibility to Quality
    Assurance by all individuals within the aircraft maintenance community.
  6. To be free from discrimination with respect to race, gender, religion or any other impediment to the development of self and the community.
